What will he be…

So I’ve decided 100%, hands down without a doubt my kid is better than yours.  Now wait! I know how that sounds, but it is technically my job to think that—I mean just exactly what kind of parent would I be if I thought your kid was better than mine? (see, see now I got ya thinkin’)

Besides the fact he at times makes me want to run far, far, far away he’s gotta  be the coolest thing on earth. I mean have you ever in your life met someone who hunts alligators, robots and aliens? This kid’s imitation is off the chain.  I mean, who wouldn’t totally fall in love with a dude that of that caliber.

Here he is checking out some alien tracks that he found.

You ever wonder what you’re kids going to do when they grown up? My bet  for Max is a life flight nurse or a tree huger. The officer- he says a fighter pilot, Grandma says  a cop like dada and uncle ko-ko and Max, well he says  Spiderman.

Here’s Max showing off some leaves he found at school. The dude loves nature. As a child, I hated being outside, as a teenager, I hated being outside, as a young adult, I hated being outside and now as a parent–I have no other choice, but to be outside!

I try not to  ponder too much about what he’ll do so many, many years from now. I mean I’m 31 and still don’t have fucking clue what I”m doing so I figured if anyones future needs some thinkin’ right about now, it’s probably mine.

Yeah, good times wondering about what you’re going to do when you grow up instead of wondering what your kid will do. I have a couple of passions–all of which I suck at. So I’ll just keep being mom for now, I seem to be doing an ok job of that and plus, it is the most important, prestigious job EVER so take that you six figure bitch!

I do work, I just I don’t consider it a career because I’ve not gone to school for what it is I’m doing. I know many people would disagree and that’s cool, but I have this image, this idea that unless I  have a degree in whatever it is I”m doing it’s not classified as a career..My degree in parenting? stretch marks thank you very much–it is my profession!

     Happy Parenting!
