Monday Madness

Yesterday was Monday and there was no covering it up. Any way you looked it, anyway you dressed it up– it still smelled of shit (as Monday’s typically do) The monster decided this morning (Monday morning I must remind you)  would be a good time to test mommy’s patience. Normally this wouldn’t be such a problem, but when you couple it with a Monday morning, you can bet your ass I swatted that butt!

Yes I know, WORSE. MOTHER. EVER. for spanking my kid in the morning, but to my defense,(because you know as mothers we always feel the need to defend our actions) sometimes the discipline just can’t wait. Tantrums over things we have to do such as getting dressed for the day are just not tolerated! Saying I don’t want to, whining, even crying is acceptable means of getting your point across when you are 3 (or 31–just saying) but kicking, screaming and throwing your body around as if you have just been over taken by a fucking demon? No, momma don’t play that shit!

Moral of the story kids? Don’t fuck with momma on a Monday! mondaymaddnessREV

That’s my gansta face, yo!  Happy Parenting!

  1. Feeling like crap STILL this morning, I enjoyed this post! It brought a smile to my face! Nobody that is a decent parent will judge for spanking. I work in education with preschool aged kids- and let me tell you if a few more parents would spank occasionally we would have a much easier job. That’s why all these people go around shooting people. They weren’t disciplined as children and they think they can go around doing all kinds of crap!
Anyways, Kutos to you! When he’s older like mine you won’t need to spank they will know just by “the look” shits about to get real!

    • Thanks Abby! and sorry you’re still feeling bad, hope you get better soon. We all know how hard it is to be mommy on a normal day little alone when your sick. Get better soon, my friend!
