Welcome to a perfectly imperfect mommas collections of the joys and frustrations being new mom on this journey called motherhood.
Together with my husband and son we will float down the flowing stream of life documenting those precious and not so precious moments 1 day at a time.
Being a new mom I have lots to say, most of which might be totally un-entertaining to you. I’m Kasey, mother of 1 superhero, wife to the police and girl with an endless list of things still needing to be accomplished. Now in my early 30′s I have the pleasure of hanging out with the most awesome 3-year-old in the world- he’s the one, the only and more than enough.
Since this collection of endless rambling will mainly be for me to put my thoughts and emotions into words I guess I should go ahead and put the disclaimer out there. Ok, here it goes..If you are looking for entertainment and witty writing, I’m not your girl. My sense of direction is a little off therefore, you’ll have to excuse me if my post seem to take a turn into something completely different from what it started out with.
With that being said if you’d like to stick around and see the play by-play of me and Max’s adventure into the toddler year’s I’d be so happy to have you!
Here is the perfect product of a perfectly imperfect momma.

Great writing and so easy to relate to and inspiring! Your love for Max is so evident that it make you a perfect momma, even with the common imperfect times we have as mothers! I look forward to more posts!

You sound like me! The way you write is like listening to myself! LOL great minds think alike. I also was not one to sugar coat pregnancy. I told all my friends and family EXACTLY what it was like! Keep up the fun stories and great writing.
Thank you for reading and for the encouragement!!
I have ‘met’ so many amazing folks in this blogging community… I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award. If you choose (or have time) to accept, here are the directions: http://mommyverbs.wordpress.com/2012/12/26/award-paying-it-forward/
You totally made my day!! Thank you so much and thank you even more for reading!!
I totally love your direct style of writing. You’re what i call “the mom”. Keep on doing this great job!
Thank you! I totally needed to hear that. I’ve been dealing with a bit of writers block- just can’t seem to get my thoughts together! Thank you so much for reading/commenting!
I’m glad I found your blog! My kids are older now, but it’s remindin’ me of the good ole days. I recently met up with a cousin I hadn’t seen in years and she says, “Wow, you are way more relaxed now.” Yes, ma’am, after four kids there are many battles and you have to pick them (and sometimes say “fuck it!” )
Keep the sense of humor. It will keep you sane, girlfriend. Seriously.
Linda
Hi Linda! Thank you so much for reading! I’m so happy to have you. One thing my mom told me when I became a mother was to try and enjoy it–not to be over serious with things because the years fly by so quickly. I’ve kept that in the back of my mind for the last 3 years and it’s really helped. Hopefully, I can keep that in mind once we enter the teenage years! lol (Lord help me!)
BTW, they never stop being monsters. My 16 year old is nearly 6’5 (over a foot taller than me) and he thinks it’s funny to sling me over his shoulder and run around the house while I scream like an undignified, crazy person. Enjoy the almost four year old, you can at least lock the front door!
Hi! Found you through bloggy moms. I love how real you are! I feel the same as you most of the time, just kind of keep it to myself! Great writing. Will definitely be following!
